Nomadix: Versatile, 100% Recycled Material Towels

One thing that I’ve been trying to do for a while now is minimize the amount of stuff that we have. It’s hard, being human (or maybe just an American), you feel this need to acquire things and keep them way past the point of use. I’ve been working on acknowledging that by constantly asking myself what I need vs. what I want. I want ALL OF THE CLOTHES! Do I need them? Not so much.

Anyway, there’s this really cool website that I get daily emails from called Touch of Modern. They have a lot of incredibly interesting things on there, most of which I can’t afford, but it’s nice to dream. We’ve gotten a couple of things from the website over the years including this super cool wooden pen  and this tool that allows you to hook your camera to anything. Wow, sorry, tangent.

Touch of Modern recently had this company Nomadix on there. The company sells versatile, 100% recycled material towels. The towel is supposed to be able to flow between going to the beach, going to yoga, and traveling. Three things that I’m getting ready to do a lot of! I bought one for myself and one for the dude so he can easily take it back and forth to the beach with him once we’re in Sydney. It’ll be nice to only have to pack one activity towel/person. Here’s one that I ordered.

They just finished up a campaign on Indiegogo so they should be able to take orders soon – or you might be able to catch them on Touch of Modern.
